I sleep to see you
Glass, mirror, metal, decal

This piece illustrates a heavy memory of someone significant resurfacing and how great of a toll it can take. Specifically in dreams someone that you actively try to not think about or genuinely haven't thought about in years can come back in your subconscious and affect your life. There are people I have accepted that I will never see again except in my dreams.
The form itself serves as a trapped memory. Something that you wish you could see more clearly and be with but will continue to be further away and will never fully see again. When you look down upon it the thick glass becomes nearly a mirror, your reflection disrupting the image inside. I watched this frustrate my viewers the way the dreams frustrate me.
